Wedding Party
Matron of Honour - Judy Lindahl
Judy & I met in 2003. I had graduated from University and headed west to spread my wings. When I landed in Vancouver I stayed for a short period of time with my cousin Sherry and her husband Mike Aoki. It was through Mike I was introduced to his wonderfully vibrant sister Judith Mika Aoki (aka Judy). We bonded instantly and became roommates and best of friends shortly afterwards. Judy’s energy and love for life encouraged my socially quiet and reserved side to expand outside of the box. Together our experiences include family, friends, boyfriends (loss of boyfriends), marriages, moves, work, lots of laughs, honesty, integrity and best of all a forever connection. Judy has recently married a wonderful man, Kent Lindahl and together they now raise 5 children on Vancouver island. Judy and I have travelled down many paths together and I’m glad she will be walking with me as my Matron of Honour on my wedding day.

Best Man - Edwin Liew
Edwin and I met at a car meet in 2002 when I was going to university. We both owned Mazda RX-7 sports cars and it was our mutual interest in them that the seeds of a wonderful friendship were planted.
Recently, Edwin celebrated the first anniversary of his marriage to my good friend Mary Jo, whom I had a hand picking out from a multitude of eligible and willing bachelorettes. Together they live in the city of Edmonton with their Golden-Doodle dog, Charlie.
Both Edwin and Mary Jo have shared many significant milestones of life with me, family, relationships, personal and professional development, and it is my extreme honor to have Edwin as my Best Man.

Master of Ceremonies - Rene Kohut
Rene and I met when we were 13 at an Edmonton private school as the “new guys” in class. We felt it was our duty to open the eyes of our tame and reserved peers but instead we opened the eyes of our teachers and the principal, this in turn created a long friendship.
Our independent personalities guide our own journeys in life, but often we travel parallel paths that converge and overlap. Over time we grew up and grew closer together, especially in recent years when we shared hobbies and activities such as mountaineering, rock climbing, and hiking.
He is married to his lovely wife, Leslie, and they recently celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Kaya
It is with great happiness that Rhonda & I introduce Rene as the Master of Ceremonies for our wedding.
